Farabale Art Beat

Radelart drew a hyper realistic piece of the Nigerian President looking lost in thought.During his interview with the farabale art beat a question was asked WHAT INSPIRED THIS DRAWING
What inspired the piece in general are the people of Nigeria, everyone, the country itself, the president himself, people around him, his cabinet, everything. Looking at what I titled it: A child that is ready to eat a bowl of pepper, he or she should be ready to dance to the tune

TITLE : INIRA 2 . "HARDSHIP" .....MEDIUM USED : CHARCOAL ON CANVAS ..... One visible characteristic of this theme is that all works are in the form of a puzzle created in different panel. This, I did to task the intellect of the viewer to the piece, to portraying the Resilience of the Human Spirit not just in the viewer's eyes, but in their mind.
Which prompted me to call this style “Puzzled Realism”... .................................................................°°°°°°° ABOUT THE ART:
Man was born to die, but between the points of inception and death is _asiko_. Whatever he makes of it what is reflected in his life, even after his demise.
In the meantime, he sorts for ways to make himself comfortable in life as he awaits the cold touch of iku. _Aye l'oja, orun n'ile_.
From the moment he is born, he begins to learn; from experience, from society.

Then life hits, _inira bere_. Life becomes an _aginju_, one that he can not compass himself out of. He toils in _asan_, his efforts are a shout into the void. The arms are not strong enough to withhold the struggles. His hands are unable to stop the clouds from drenching him in _ibi_.

This takes a toll on him, as be begins to live in paranoia, dwelling in fear, fighting for a daily bread day after day, year after year after year, constantly wondering _bi ola se ma ri_. This weakness therefore provokes the need to believe in mysteries, however ridiculous, just to make life a bit tolerable. So, He burns candles, baths in rivers, prays in starvation to destroy the _Aje_ his _Woli_ said tied down his _Ogo_.

And as the years pass on, the realisation of the energy and resources wasted begin to dawn heavily on him. _O gba kamu_, as he waits for _ojo iku_.... ... Asiko: Time.

Aye l'oja, orun n'ile: It is a yoruba expression meaning we're just visitors on earth. Heaven is our home.

Inira bere: Hardship begins.

Aginju: Wilderness.

Asan: futility

Ibi: Misfortune.

Bi ola se ma ri: A yoruba expression to describe what the future holds.

Aje: Witch.

Woli: Prophet.

O gba kamu: He resigns to fate; He gives up.

Ojo Iku: The day of his death

Ogo: Glory; Destiny

Amazing hyper realistic charcoal on canvas artwork by Raji Abdul-Gaffar Bamidele ( @radelart ). Tittle of art work :
IRETI (HOPE) IN SOME CONTEXT, EXPECTATION
About the art work:

The word “IRETI“ is a Yoruba word means hope and in other context it means expectations. Human existence has been catalysed and kept alive by hope and expectations. The hope for a better life, infrastructure and agricultural resources; even when our thighs and arms are hurting from sailing the hurdles of life, IRETI (hope and expectations) has always been our paddle. Life in general is a saddle of which its existence is filled with strife; strife that has tried in all futility to drown our God given talent bestowed upon humans from the cradle. IRETI has kept man moving towards the bright spark jumping every hurdle and keeping every vibe alive and shimmering as we move towards the end of the tunnel. Even when we make mistakes, we keep confronting life with our resourceful, innovative and improvisation ability. Because of IRETI, man has grown the spirit to adapt. Because of IRETI, I implore you all to say I will conquer. The unemployed, every mother in the labour room, every father waiting to hear the voice of his new-born child and his wife. Every student waiting for the final day of graduation, never minding all that he or she has faced in the past few years............... ALL BECAUSE OF IRETI WE SMILE WITH IMMENSE JOY, FOR THIS ARTWORK SHOWS THE EXPRESSION OF A MAN FILLED WITH IRETI (HOPE)........ MEDIUM used : charcoal on canvas......... #Radelart #team_radelart #ccalagos
